NoteZapper is a free arcade game for Android, iPhone and iPad that teaches kids to read treble and bass clef notes: name each note before it comes crashing down, then play songs with what they’ve learned. It has no ads and no tracking, and extra level packs are an optional in-app purchase behind a grown-ups gate.

How it plays
- Notes appear one at a time on the treble or bass staff. Name each one in time to zap it. Some levels use note letters and others a piano keyboard.
- Song levels let kids play tunes such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Hot Cross Buns and Rain, Rain, Go Away.
- Earn stars as you clear levels. Progress is saved on the device, so kids can pick up where they left off.
- Turn sound and note names on or off in settings.
For parents and teachers
- A notes tutorial for kids who are learning to read sheet music, such as beginning piano students.
- Purchases and settings sit behind a grown-ups gate.
- Grown-ups → Reset progress starts the game over.
